We are seeking two volunteers from 4:30 – 6:30 pm on the following dates: Volunteers on the safety walks will remind our students that they should conduct themselves as responsible members of the community and be mindful of the impact of hosting parties has on their neighborhood. This initiative reinforces the work of the University’s Good Neighbor committees. Also, to remind students that they are serving as the University’s ambassadors and their actions do reflect on the University. The overall goal of the Village safety walks is to educate students on the risks associated with large gatherings that negatively impact the community. This accreditation recognizes SUNY Brockport Student Health Center as a facility providing quality ambulatory health care in a safe, respectful environment.The Division of Student Affairs is implementing a proactive and collaborative effort between faculty and staff volunteers along with the Brockport Police Department. The Student Health Center holds national accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care Inc., the nation’s leading accreditation organization of ambulatory health facilities. Notification of parents, University faculty, and administrators is considered the student’s responsibility. The Student Health Center will not share information concerning the health of a student without the student’s explicit and informed written authorization.
